URI chair welcomes new employee Patricia Surray

The URI chair is happy to welcome Patricia Surray as a new scientific employee.

Patricia Surray joined the Chair of Urban, Regional and International Economic Relations (URI) in September 2025 and is a member of the Regional Disparities and Economic Policy Research Training Group.
Her research interests lie in the areas of international trade, foreign direct investment (FDI), productivity and structural developments.
She completed her international double master's degree in economics at the University of Hohenheim and HEC Liège, specialising in economic analysis and policy.
Before starting her PhD, she gained research experience in the Central Economics Department of the Deutsche Bundesbank, where she conducted research on productivity and allocation.
