Registration process & forms

Please read the course-specific procedures and forms if you want to write a thesis with us.

We only consider applications which are submitted via the respective online-form.  Find the right form for you in the table below:

For students of the Bsc. Business Administration & Economics, Business Engineering and Business Mathematics the following application phases apply:

Only applications that have been submitted via the online form, are complete and fit into the research field of the chair will be considered for the awarding of the final thesis.

Please note: Students of the Bachelor of Business Administration and Economics must additionally attend the project seminar and the academic writing at our chair. Students of the Bachelor of Business Informatics and Bachelor of Business Engineering must also take the Academic Writing.

  1. Apply for a thesis at our professorship via the respective online-form*
  2. Clarify the topic with your supervisor
  3. Participate in the academic writing workshop
  4. Write an exposé within the editing time
  5. Registration of the thesis (after passing the exposé)

Attention: The registration form for Bachelor and Master theses beinalts drop-down menus to select the appropriate options. The drop-down function may not work when using a smartphone.

 

*Students of the BSc WIWI please note the application deadline. Applications outside the application deadline will not be considered.

  1. Apply for a thesis at our professorship via the respective online-form*
  2. Clarify the topic with your supervisor
  3. Participate in the academic writing workshop
  4. Write an exposé within the editing time
  5. Contact the Central Exam Administration for the registration form and more information.
  6. Registration of the thesis (after passing the exposé)

Additional Information: When you pick up your registration form, please take your student ID with you. The Central Examination Administration will confirm that you have met the necessary criteria to start your thesis before you receive a signed and stamped version of the registration form.

 

*Students of the BSc Business Engineering please note the application deadline. Applications outside the application deadline will not be considered.

  2. Clarify the topic with your supervisor
  3. Participate in the academic writing workshop
  4. Write an exposé within the editing time
  5. Contact the Examination Board for the registration form and additional information
  6. Registration of the thesis (after passing the exposé)

 

*Students of the BSc Business Mathematics please note the application deadline. Applications outside the application deadline will not be considered.

  1. Apply for a thesis at our professorship via the respective online-form
  2. Consider and find a secondary supervisor in the Department of Regional Planning
  3. Clarify the topic with your supervisor
  4. Write an exposé (4 weeks processing time)
  5. Registration of the thesis (after passing the exposé)
