Contents overview

The lecture addresses the causes and effects of the spatial distribution of economic activities. Here, economic theories form the basis for discussing the location choices of firms and households. This enables the lecture to derive spatial planning concepts for concrete practical examples. A special focus of the course is on the advantages and disadvantages of large agglomerations.
